Ahoy there, shipmates! Join Anna Outdoors aboard the deck of the HatHats galleon (the coastal classroom) for some pirate crafts before heading to the high seas (Reculver’s rocky shore) to explore! Search for some natural treasures within the rockpools. Catch crabs, seek out shannies, pursue periwinkles, and enjoy some swashbuckling pirate-themed games!
Please feel free to dress up as pirates, mermaids etc!
We will be in the coastal classroom from 10 - 10:30am getting creative and then heading to the beach from 10:30am - 12pm. In the event of the weather being too dangerous to explore we will provide lots of indoor crafts and bring some rockpool creatures inside the coastal classroom.
Recommended age range 5 – 10 years.
All children need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian and wear outdoor suitable clothing (please bring a waterproof coat, particularly if you are in fancy dress). You are not required to book tickets for accompanying adults.
Old trainers with good grip or wellington boots are advised. Please do not wear flip flops.
Car parking not included.
All equipment provided.
Meet in the coastal classroom just behind the HatHats café.
You are free to walk back along the beach at any point (just let us know so we don't have to send out any search parties). We also include some rock pool equipment/information too.
