About the event

The Cookbook & Supper Club
The Cookbook & Supper Club is a monthly gathering hosted by CanD’s Kitchen and The Book Cottage, inspired by the pages of a featured cookbook.

It’s a chance to taste new flavours, discover new authors, and enjoy a warm evening around the table with others who appreciate good food and good books.

This June, we feature “Recipes to Live For” by Sally Andrew, with a menu of mutton curry served with sambals and Basmati rice, followed by Weerligkoek — a layered sponge with meringue, spicy nuts, grapefruit curd, and white chocolate “lightning bolts.”
