We warmly invite you, your family, and friends to join us for a heartfelt Light up a Life service on Sunday, 14th December 2024 at 6 pm at the beautiful Hereford Cathedral, a gentle moment to remember, reflect, and find comfort together.
In this inclusive and moving service, candles are lit to honour the memory of loved ones, music and readings bring calm and connection, and there is space to pause and share the warmth of remembrance.
After the service, you’re invited to visit our Wall of Remembrance displayed outside the cathedral’s West Door, take a moment to touch base with the names of those remembered or to add your own.
Attendance is free, and all are welcome, whether you're familiar with St Michael’s Hospice or exploring your first step in finding community remembrance.
If visiting in person isn’t possible, the service will also be livestreamed, allowing you to join from home and light a candle in spirit.
💖 You can also make a dedication in memory of someone special, their name will be included on the Wall of Remembrance and honoured during the service.
