There’s no better way to spend a summer evening than gathered in Community Park for the Henniker Summer Concert Series. This Tuesday, we welcome The Blues Express, bringing their own brand of Chicago Blues to the Angela Robinson Bandstand.

While the music fills the air, you can enjoy a delicious meal from Mitchell Hill Caters BBQ. Feel free to bring your own picnic or grab dinner from one of our great local restaurants downtown.

🧺 Don’t forget to pack your lawn chair or blanket—this is the kind of evening where you’ll want to settle in and stay awhile. Kids can run and play in Flynn’s Yard, and we always encourage dancing on the grass!

🚗 These concerts are popular, so plan ahead for parking! Early arrivals can park above the Community Center off Crescent Street, on Western Ave, or at the Preston House lot. If those fill up, you’ll find plenty more parking off Bridge Street behind College Convenience and Super Scoops, and near the school and Congregational Church.

☔ In case of rain, the concert moves indoors to the Community Center right next to the park. Rain or shine, the show goes on.
