Fight Hunger at Home with MANNA FoodBank, Mast Store, and Merrell

Mast General Store is excited to continue its partnership with Merrell to provide Food for Kids! 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐍𝐘 𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫 at your local Mast Store, October 13 – 26, and 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞 $𝟏𝟓 to a children’s fund at a local food security agency.

𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐀 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐊𝐢𝐝𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞. This food security agency, founded in 1982, serves 16 counties in Western North Carolina. Although its Asheville headquarters were devastated by Hurricane Helene, MANNA swiftly relocated to resume helping its neighbors in need, including continuing its Feeding Kids Year Round program provides emergency food assistance to public school students throughout the region.

According to No Kid Hungry, as many as 13 million American children live in food insecure households where access to proper nutrition and sufficient meals is limited or unavailable. In parts of Mast Store’s four-state region, that ratio can increase to one in four children.
