You be the Judge, Amateur Wine Evaluation with the AWS & Potluck

In preparation for the 2025 Bacchus Party and Awards Dinner, the two (2) American Wine Society Chapters (AWS) located within the Las Vegas Valley are joining forces to judge wines produced at Grape Expectations:

• The East Las Vegas Valley Chapter
• The Sin City Chapter

DETAILS:

• Each person will be judging multiple wines in specified wine categories
• You will learn how to judge amateur wines using a “Wine Evaluation Chart”. This chart will allow you to score each wine on appearance, aroma and bouquet, taste and texture, aftertaste, and overall impression.
• The ELVV Chapter of AWS will be donating a souvenior wine glass for all attendees

WHEN:

• Doors will open at 6:30pm on Thursday July 10th
• Judging will begin at 7:00pm

WHAT TO BRING:

• Please bring an appetizer to share (potluck)

THIS EVENT IS NOT FREE:

• $10.00 p/person for all Members and Non-members
• CASH ONLY; PAY AT THE DOOR
