Let’s unite to honor the 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 8 paramedics who courageously gave their lives on 9/11, along with the thousands of others affected by this tragic day. This is our chance to pay tribute to their heroism and sacrifice.
📅 Date: September 13, 2025
🕢 Registration: 7:30 a.m.
🚶♂️ Walk Begins: 8:03 a.m.
📍 Route: Starting at the Henderson City Hall use and ending at Rusk County ESD #1, 1515 Whippoorwill (Rusk County ESD #1)
Our 2.1-mile walk represents the distance of the stairwells from the bottom to the top of the World Trade Center twin towers. Walking this route together, we’ll honor the bravery and sacrifice of these heroes. 🚶♂️🚶♀️
If you can’t walk or prefer not to, you can still be part of this meaningful event by cheering on participants along the route. Your support makes a difference! 🎉🙌
