VJ Day Celebration

The flag will be flying and the 1938 Dennis Ace Fire engine will be at The Cottage, Apsley Mills, Stationers Place, Hemel Hempstead HP3 9RL. Access is via the gate opposite Apsley Station and the door under the Basildon Bond clock. Inside you will find a table top exhibition, Dickinson in Battledress, the film, running and our Collections Officer doing short talks at 12 and 2pm. Pop in and meet us and hear about Apsley in wartime. Everyone is welcome.

We will have tea, coffee and a bun to purchase. All proceeds go towards the restoration of Frogmore Paper Mill after the fire.
