Kernow comedy returns to Polurrian with another cracking line-up of comedians with a little something to suit everyone's taste.
Meet the acts:
Headliner Anna Keirle
Daffy Cornish bumpkin Keirle has funny in her veins, with a disarming daftness and an endearingly babbling manner.
She was a finalist of So You Think You’re Funny?, Funny Women Awards and the Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year.
'She bristles with fine, offbeat ideas and has plenty of funny lines… we could be looking at an emerging comedy star.'
-Chortle
Andrew Watts
Andrew Watts has a distinctive style and very original material. His posh boy humour is intelligent without distancing himself from the audience. Lawyer turned comedian, Andrew is extremely likeable and invariably wins a crowd over as he canters, like an apologetic tsunami, through challenging subjects.
Previously a solicitor in London, he is now a full-time comedian and has written and performed four full-length Edinburgh shows, I Wish I Could Be Like Andrew Watts, Born To Be Mild, Feminism for Chaps and. most recently, How To Build A Chap. All of them received five- or four-star reviews.
Ian Bowden
Ian’s style can best be described as a series of structured puns/one-liners.
His innocent/unique look belies his cheeky innuendo and double-entendres.
His set-ups are often based in truth, but he would like to stress the punchlines generally are not!
The evening will be hosted by Kernow Comedy's own Tom Rodgers.
"Tom's confident stage presence and seamless interaction
with the audience make comedy look easy.
His quick-witted humor keeps the laughs rolling effortlessly.
A performance that feels as smooth as it is entertaining."
- Ben, Torquay Comedy Club
“A rising star of the south west circuit.
Tom Rodgers certainly has funny bones.”
