Latitudinal Cuisine Cornwall: Equator Edition

Our first event kicks off on 31st July, themed around the Equator (0° latitude).
We’ll be exploring tastes from the 13 diverse countries that the Equator passes through: Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, São Tomé and Príncipe, Gabon, DR Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Somalia, Maldives, Indonesia, and Kiribati. Think tropical, bold, vibrant flavours – and plenty of stories to share.

All welcome. Come as you are. Bring a dish, and let’s build something beautiful, inclusive, and delicious together.

About Latitudinal Cuisine Cornwall at 42

Every month we will host a dinner gathering where people are asked to bring a dish wherever the longitude or latitude lands according to the date.

It gives people the chance to explore global cuisines, sometimes familiar, sometimes exotic. The ambition is to form a community and bond over experimenting with food and meeting new people. Drinks will be served by 42 The Living Room and a £3 charge per person goes to Potluck Cornwall to show commitment and cover the admin costs etc.

We shall play music from each region, make new friends & hopefully experiment with new flavours & cuisine.
