80 lap sponsored walk for Royal British Legion.

Help us to honour heroes and to raise money for the Royal British Legion.
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of both VE Day and VJ Day, members of Helston Rotary Club are taking on a special challenge: they are collectively walking 80 laps around Helston Boating Lake in honour of those who served and sacrificed their lives during World War 2.

Some of us will walk a single lap. others many more - but together we'll complete the full 80 - lap tribute.

We're inviting you to support our effort and help us raise funds for the Royal British Legion, a charity which helps members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families and to support serving and ex-serving personnel all year round, every day of the week.

Your sponsorship will support the entire event, not individual laps, so no need to count the steps taken!!

Every donation helps make a real difference to those who gave so much for our freedom.

Donations can be made on the day in cash or by sending a cheque to any member of the Rotary Club of Helston.
