Renowned abstract artist Robert Lombardi was deeply moved by the tragic flooding in the Texas Hill Country and the lives lost at Camp Mystic. In response, he created Angry River — a powerful abstract work that captures both the devastation and the resilience of the community.
This original 4x4 painting, valued between $10,000 and $15,000, is being raffled to raise funds for flood relief. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the families affected.
Join us for a special viewing event on Friday, July 25, from 4–8 PM, where Angry River will be on public display. This is a chance to experience the emotional impact and meaning behind the piece up close.
The raffle drawing will take place on October 1, with the winner announced live and on our website.
Lombardi’s color choices in Angry River hold deep symbolic meaning:
• Blue – the angry, moving water
• Black – the raging current
• Green – the Hill Country
• Red – loved ones lost
• Pink – innocence
• White – homes swept away
• Yellow – hope
Lombardi, who has exhibited nationally in New York, California, and across Texas, generously donated this piece as an act of compassion and solidarity. His work is featured in galleries, public collections, and private homes throughout the U.S.
Raffle tickets are $25 each, available online through Zeffy or in person.
Whether or not you win this extraordinary painting, your donation brings help, healing, and hope to those who need it most.
