Pottery basics throwing class with Jmac at Ormert'a Arts

Jmac is back to teaching wheel classes and has teamed up with Ormert'a Arts for beginner pottery. Note this class is a once a week class at Ormert'a Arts in Helena, MT.

Introduction to the pottery wheel. Learn the basics and get started on your pottery journey. 8 week course that includes guided studio access to wheels and tools with flex makeup time, a bag of clay to start, studio glazes, and kiln firings for class work.


Topics include learning to throw on the wheel, trimming, glazing, wedging, and learning about clay and glaze. You will walk away with your own handmade pieces at the end, a new skill, and more opportunities to learn new techniques.
