Ever wanted to be on a dance team? Here's your chance! Join Becca and her Boot Scooters on August 10th, from 1:00-5:00 PM, at Pub 261 in Pelham, AL, for the Becca's Boot Scooters Line Dance Performance Troupe's team tryouts.
You will learn a total of 4 dances for tryouts. Two of the dances you'll learn on your own in advance and be ready to perform on the day of tryouts. Then, you'll learn two more dances on the day of tryouts and perform them for the judges panel.
No special shoes are required, but it will be helpful to have a slick-bottom shoe or boot that can slide on a concrete floor. Alternatively, you can bring a pair of dance socks to slide on over your shoe/boot. Wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in.
The most important thing is to bring your confidence, your smile, and your energy! The team performs at various events and venues around the area, and our main job is to be ambassadors of dance for the community, to entertain the crowd, and to show them and let them experience the joy of line dancing.
Be prepared to stay for the entire tryout time from 1-5 PM and for the invitation announcement to new members during the team reveal at the end. Depending on the number of team members, there will most likely be a Beginner/Improver Team (B Team) and an Intermediate/Advanced Team (A Team).

Note: Team members are required to purchase their team outfit, accessories, and boots, as well as pay for any travel expenses. Each team member must sign an agreement stating they will abide by the team rules. The agreement will be available for review after the team reveal and the invitation to join the team has been extended to the new members.
