From Townsend, travel west on the Indian Creek Road about 10 miles. Continue past the Forest boundary on Road #4031 for 2 miles. Turn south at the intersection with Forest Road #405 for another 2 miles.

I’m Turbo with Check A Vet, and I’m proud to announce that we’ve launched a brand-new Team Room right here in Helena, Montana!
A Team Room is a place for veterans to connect, build routine, and create meaningful relationships.
Our mission is simple:
Build a peer support network to strengthen trust and community.
Reduce veteran suicide through ongoing emotional and practical support.
Educate veterans and the public about suicide risks and tools that can save lives.
And here’s the exciting part—this Sunday, August 24th, we’re kicking things off with our first weekly hike at Crow Creek Falls, just outside Townsend!
Where: Crow Creek Falls Trailhead
When: 9:00 AM Sunday, Aug 24
What to bring: Sturdy shoes, water, snacks, and layers
This hike is about 5.5 miles round trip—moderate, scenic, and worth it for the waterfall at the end.
We’re thrilled to have our first volunteer trail guide, Jessie, leading the way.
Let’s hit the trail, share some stories, and start building something powerful together.
