EQUINE Essentials of Veterinary Chiropractic Course 2025
You are interested in specialized equine chiropratic education?
This species-specific course gives you the opportunity to focus on horses at an in-depth level within a small group size.
New hybrid format: Course participants can begin immediately learning important veterinary chiropractic theory using the IAVC online learning platform upon full registration. This allows students to learn from home at their own pace and convenience, the knowledge and background information which will optimize the learning experience during the in-person practical sessions. The combined use of learning platform theory and in-person practical hands-on sessions form an ideal framework, developing the participant’s knowledge and skills throughout the duration of the course.
Comprehensive practical sessions with horses including safety and handling of the animals, and an introduction to the quadruped chiropractic adjustment. The focus is on motion palpation, hand and body positioning, and treatment techniques of the quadruped sacropelvic, thoracolumbar, cervical and extremity region. The Veterinary Chiropractic Integration (Final Exam) module provides a review of all animal chiropractic assessment and treatment techniques.

1. Sacropelvic: September 19th – 20th, 2025 (Fri-Sat)
2. Thoracolumbar: October 24th – 25th, 2025 (Fri-Sat)
3. Cervical: December 5th – 6th, 2025 (Fri-Sat)
4. Extremity: January 8th – 10th, 2026 (Thu-Sat)
5. Clinical Integration-Final Exam: February 20th – 22nd, 2026 (Fri-Sun)
