CHEMICIDE (Thrash Metal/Crossover, Costa Rica)
Since their first EP in 2011, CHEMICIDE, Costa Rica's most successful metal act, have toured Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Canada and Europe several times, performing at both American and European festivals such as Into the Grave (NL), MetalDays (SL), Rock al Parque (CO), México Metal Fest (MX), Pitfest (NL) and In Flammen (DE). In 2025 they will perform at Alcatraz Open Air (BE) and Summerbreeze Open Air (DE). CHEMICIDE's latest album, released on 28 February 2025 via Listenable Records, is titled Violence Prevails and features the same aggressive high-speed thrash with hardcore and crossover influences that has brought them international attention for more than a decade.
Hailing from the fiery heart of Central America, Chemicide have been tearing up stages across the globe with their razor-sharp sound—pure, old-school thrash metal, injected with a modern pulse. With albums like Inequality and Common Sense, the band has solidified its reputation as a force to be reckoned with on the international scene.
