��This Thursday, we’ll be talking about the grief that comes with recovery. Healing often means saying goodbye to old habits, unhealthy relationships, or even entire chapters of our lives. That process can bring up real feelings of loss, sadness, and uncertainty. Together, we’ll explore healthy ways to acknowledge and work through that grief, while also finding hope in what we’re gaining along the way.
Research shows that people in recovery often experience grief similar to mourning a loss. We may grieve substances themselves, the routines built around them, or even the friendships and identities tied to that lifestyle. This doesn’t mean we want to go back, it means we’re human, and our brains are processing major change.
Please join us for our free weekly Women’s Peer Support Group, a safe, welcoming space for anyone on a healing journey.
We take a holistic approach, blending evidence-based recovery tools with creative activities and supportive peer connection. Using therapeutic art, creative expression and reflection, we help women process emotions, build self-awareness, and find healing in a supportive, casual, fun & safe space.
This is a “come as you are” group. You dont have to talk, share, or introduce yourself. Just show up. �
