Launch Site: Any Public Launch other than the PWC/Sailboat launch is off limits for launching.

Eligibility:
This event is open to all anglers fishing from kayaks, canoes, float tubes, single person pontoons, or paddleboards.
You may reside in another state, but you must have a Utah Fishing License or Wyoming combo License and have a reciprocal permit.
You do not have to be a KFU Member to fish the KFU Tournament. However, you will NOT be eligible for AOY points but you can still win prizes and prize money.
Eligible Waters: The entirety of Flaming Gorge
Eligible Species: Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass. Any species under 10" will not be scored
Registration Deadline: 6pm the night before the tournament. No late registrations will be accepted.
Identifier: Identifier must be an official 2025 KFU identifier.

Angler must have KFU waiver on file before fishing the event
Angler is responsible for any park entry fees
Anglers are being judged on the total length of their 5 Biggest Fish
The angler will be solely responsible for uploading all submissions to TourneyX and have 1 hour after competition ends to upload pictures. Tournament Director will NOT be responsible for or involved in manually uploading submissions.
All prizes to be paid within 10 business days after the closing of the tournament. Except for situations involving fraud, threat of litigation, or other law violations.
Cash Prize will be paid via Paypal. Anglers who are receiving $600 or more in a single year will need to file a W-9 before being paid
-Remember to complete your Utah Division of Wildlife Resources 2024 MUSSEL-AWARE BOATER BOATER EDUCATION COURSE online and print it to display on your dash when launching your kayaks.

-Also remember motors registered after July 1st 2023 must complete the AIS vessel enrollment. The fee is $20 for Utah residents and $25 for non-resident boaters. This fee must be paid prior to launching your motorized vessel in Utah and can be paid online.

Wyoming AIS procedures:
Any watercraft transported into Wyoming from March 1 through November 30 must undergo a mandatory inspection by an authorized inspector before launching in any water of the state.
Any watercraft that has been in a water infested with zebra/quagga mussels within the last 30 days must be inspected by an authorized inspector before launching during ALL months of the year.
All watercraft must stop at any open watercraft check station on their route of travel, regardless of previous destination and intention to launch in Wyoming.
All participants must adhere to Department regulations and be disqualified for regulation violations:
Any angler who is cited for a violation of Wyoming Game and Fish Department Fishing, Watercraft or Aquatic Invasive Species Regulations while participating in the contest (Chapters 46, 22 and 62) will be disqualified. While participating is defined as 6 PM on the day prior to the start of the contest through 6 PM of the final day of the contest.
All burbot caught during this contest must be killed immediately.
