Autumn depth writing workshop

Depth writing is a transformational practice grounded in Jungian psychology & neuroscience which blends journaling & creative writing to support self-discovery & creativity.

This Autumn depth writing workshop will be a chance to reflect on the seasons and cycles of your self-experience through the wisdom and symbolism of Autumn with writing & imagination.

The workshop will include guided writing exercises of between approximately five and fifteen minutes, small group discussions and a break with tea & cake. As the focus is on process, rather than outcome, and on what comes up in the writing, rather than craft, there will never be any pressure to read anything out (although you can if you wish).

Who is it for?

Writers, creative practitioners, seekers, psyche travellers & inner explorers who are on a journey of self-discovery and are comfortable with diving deeper.

Workshop guidelines

Participants will be invited to:

• Take responsibility for your experience by working with the material in a way that feels right for you
• Avoid over-disclosing any matter that is particularly private or painful
• Consider where you might seek outside support if anything difficult comes up
• Practice CARE - confidentiality, attention, respect & empathy - with others

About Dr Rachel Newsome

I'm a writer, teacher & creative guide with a PhD in Creative Writing & Jungian psychology and twenty years teaching experience as a lecturer in Higher Education.
