Celebrate 25 Years of Geocaching at Camp Hearne!

Twenty-five years ago, the interactive GPS-based activity known as **Geocaching** was launched by Groundspeak Inc. as a smartphone app. Now a global phenomenon, it adds a fun, modern-day "seek and find" twist to hiking and outdoor adventures for travelers, day-trippers, and nature enthusiasts alike.

To celebrate this milestone, Camp Hearne Historic Site is hosting a hands-on introduction to the Geocaching app, followed by an exciting trek along our historic trails to locate hidden cache sites.
