Harvest Fizz: Naturally Fermented Soda Making
Join us for a 90-minute workshop that bubbles over with creativity, flavor, and gut-friendly magic. Led by Alegre Fowler and Lisal Moran of Parker Hill Provisions, this hands-on class teaches you how to make naturally fermented sodas using seasonal fruit and herbs, wild cultures, and a little science-meets-magic. Lemon balm, just-harvested wine grapes and pears, local apple cider, warming spices—these are just a few of the ingredients to inspire your perfect seasonal sipper.
Your hosts will gather garnishes and fall flavors straight from the source, including Front Porch Farm, Alexander Valley Winery Farm, Hector’s Honey, and other local favorites. Inside h2hotel’s Green Room, overlooking the creekside garden, you’ll dive into the fermentation process—from starting your own ginger bug to bottling your own sodas to take home.
But it doesn’t stop with soda. Spoonbar’s Chris Read is bringing a few California spirits and non-alcoholic mixers to the table, plus a lineup of fresh accoutrements to turn your homemade sodas into next-level cocktails and mocktails. Light bites round out the session—because soda goes best with snacks.
