Open Jam Club returns Wednesday, November 26th for an outstanding night of jamming with old and new friends.
The Hazel Perk Cafe has once again returned as a hub of music activity hosting weekend concerts featuring various music genres including rock, punk, blues, folk, country and soul as well as hosting a weekly Thursday Open mic. The food and drink selection are amazing and there is plenty of seating.
Open Jam Club is a night for jammers or the audience. Audience members can be a mix of musicians or friends coming to see a band, local cafe traffic, or people bar hopping hearing music coming from the cafe.
The jammers who perform at Open Jam Club tend to be a mix of players from professional music backgrounds to band ready amateur musicians. Basically, people who are comfortable enough with their chosen instrument to fit into an instrumental jam with others.
The open jammers have the option to meet other players throughout the night and sign up for a jam slot. This is a perfect way to collaborate and perform with new people.
The jammers who are bringing their band can make this an opportunity to play newly rehearsed songs live in front of a new audience. They also have the option to throw older and accomplished songs in the mix or perform some covers.

Jam slots are exactly 25 minutes long on every half hour for set up and tuning, etc. Jam groups can form almost immediately depending on who shows up. If someone wants to get in one of the sessions, there will be plenty of open spots.
If a band is interested in performing an actual set at a specific time and have friends coming, please contact Steve in advance.
Drums, Bass Amp, Guitar Amp, Keyboard and Amp and vocals included. Performers, please bring your sticks, bass, guitar, and whatever else is needed.
