We’re thrilled to return for a second year to this beautifully atmospheric venue with our contemporary craft show. Forty members of the Sussex Guild will be showcasing their exceptional handmade creations, including jewellery, woodwork, furniture, leather goods, ceramics, textiles, glass, and metal.
Set in the heart of the High Weald—an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—Ardingly College offers the perfect setting. Visitors can explore the work of Guild makers within the light-filled spaces of the Chapel, the Old Dining Hall, and surrounding classrooms, all housed in the college’s iconic 19th-century Gothic red-brick architecture.
A £4 ticket grants entry for both Saturday and Sunday, giving you ample time to admire the beautiful craftsmanship, meet the makers, and choose the perfect piece to take home.
The College cafe will be open for light lunches and refreshments. Access is good and there will be clearly sign-posted parking around the site (including disabled) for those arriving by car.
Should you fancy a pub meal, Ardingly Village is a mile away. If you’re in the area for the weekend, Wakehurst is also nearby; managed by Kew Gardens and home to the Millennium Seed Bank, this wild botanic garden has over 500 acres of diverse landscapes and plants from across the globe.
Opening times: 10am – 5pm
Admission: £4.00 at the door (card payments accepted), students & children free
Parking: There are parking areas around the College. Disabled spaces are in front of The Archway between the Chapel and Dining Hall.
Train: Haywards Heath Station is 3.7 miles away. Trains to and from London take 45-50 minutes. Taxis are available from the station, or it’s an hour’s walk.
