“The Story of the Blues” - An evening with EDDIE MARTIN
Friday 16th May 2025 at 7.30pm - The Bent Arms, Lindfield
EDDIE MARTIN is a highly acclaimed and multiple award winning guitarist and harmonica player - an acknowledged master of acoustic and electric guitar with a career spanning over 40 years including many TV performances and recording sessions for BBC Radio
He will be performing his History of the Blues - showcasing the work of earliest pioneers of the blues such as Son House, Charlie Patton through to Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters and Elmore James to the performers of the present day including some of his own blues compositions.
Eddie brings the history of blues music alive with anecdotes, guitar and harmonica wizardry, and songs from the Delta to the British Blues Boom and back to Chicago.
