Back Bending Workshop

Build your confidence in class with a focused workshop on backbends...
Heart-opening poses in yoga are incredibly powerful, and summer is the perfect time to explore them when you're all warm and open, more naturally flexible and often more confident in yourself.
Bryony has been practising yoga since the 90s and teaching since 2008. As someone not naturally flexible, Bry has learned how to safely open up in back bends using a systematic approach with modifications and adjustments to suit all body types and experience levels.

This event is open to anyone interested in exploring back bends, if you're more experienced you'll be offered support and guidance in a more challenging pose like wheel or camel, if you're more of a beginner you'll get the fundamentals of opening up the front of the body with intelligence, everyone will be instructed with a skilful and inclusive approach.

Bryony has been a yoga therapist since 2017 and a teacher trainer since 2011. She continues to learn in yoga-integrated psychotherapy and weight training for menopause.

Be Yoga Sun studio is a naturally warm, sunny studio with all the props you'll need.
