Join Kat for an Ayurvedic-inspired yoga workshop focussing on the bridging of the seasons. ☀️🍃

Harness the outgoing warmth of the summer months by easing into longer held stretches, before melting into the stillness of calm restorative poses. We will move through a series of grounding postures supported by props, and finish with a Yoga Nidra meditation – a retethering of our minds and bodies after the busy days of summer –to cultivate a smoother, less hectic move into Autumn.

In Ayurvedic practices, the principle of doshas govern the body’s functions and are affected by changes in the seasons as well as diet and general wellbeing. This workshop will help balance the out-going seasonal elements of Pitta (characterised by heat, intensity and sharpness) with the incoming Vata dosha governed by air and space to welcome a sense of centred stillness for the start of the new season
