Wildland Resilience Summit - Understanding the Wildland Urban Interface Risks

On behalf of the City of Hays Fire Department, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation invites you to a two-day workshop to explore the risk of wildfires to the community. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation has worked closely with the Fire Department, the Kansas State Forest Service, the International Association of Firefighters, the International Association of Fire Chiefs, and the National Volunteer Fire Council to develop this workshop.

We will use local knowledge, technology (SimTable), and a field trip to frame an important discussion about wildfire risk to the community.

Please join us on Friday 08 August and Saturday 09 August at the Hilton Garden Inn for this important event. Lunch will be provided both days. We’ll start at 9AM.
