About the event

Menopause Decoded: Knowledge, Confidence & Everyday Tools
Menopause Decoded: Knowledge, Confidence & Everyday Tools
🔥 99% of women said their menopause or peri-menopause symptoms had a negative impact on their career (Newson Health).
💼 1 in 10 women leave their job due to menopause symptoms, rising sharply where workplace support is lacking (Fawcett Society).
🧬 Low oestrogen levels, common in menopause, may increase your risk of Long Covid (King’s College London).

This isn’t just another wellbeing session.

This is the workshop that could change how you understand your body, your health, your work, and your relationships.
Most of us were never taught this stuff — so imagine the power of:
✅ Understanding what’s going on in your body
✅ Feeling confident to speak with your GP and asking for the right support
✅ Building your own menopause toolkit
✅ Knowing how to talk to your employer about what you need

Whether you're: experiencing symptoms, managing a team, supporting a partner, or📚 simply want to be better informed — this workshop is for you.

🧘‍♀️ You’ll learn:
-What menopause really is and who it impacts
-The physical, mental, and emotional signs to look out for
-The science behind the changes
-Practical, everyday tips you can take away and use immediately

📅 Join us for an educational and empowering session that will leave you feeling more confident in making informed choices for your wellbeing at this time of life.

🎟️ Community Ticket – Contribution-Based We believe in community care and accessibility. If you’d love to join but the ticket cost is a challenge right now, this pay-what-you-can option is here for you. Pay what feels right or what you're able.

About the speaker: Sarah Thomas HOTB Training Partner

With 35+ years as a holistic therapist and over two decades as a college lecturer, Sarah combines a deep professional insight with lived experience to deliver impactful menopause training. Diagnosed with premature menopause at 29, while qualifying as a teacher, Sarah understands how hormonal changes can disrupt not just health, but confidence, career, and relationships.

Sarah's career has spanned spas, cruise liners, and classrooms, but it was her personal journey through menopause, infertility, and complex health challenges that shaped her mission: to ensure no one feels invisible or unsupported at work during this phase of life.

Today, Sarah helps organisations foster menopause-inclusive cultures through training that’s grounded in real experience, not just theory. Sarah also continues to support women through tailored therapies combining aromatherapy, reflexology, and nutritional guidance.

Because meaningful support goes beyond a fan on a desk—it starts with listening, respect, and understanding.
