Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust will be joining us and after our briefing will spend 15 minutes or so explaining about our marine life with those that are interested. They will be there for the rest of the clean up so will be able to answer any questions about the wildlife or flora that you find. We hope this will provide some more education about our wonderful coastline!
Parking is limited at the beachfront but there is additional parking on the roads opposite. Please be careful crossing the busy road to get to the shore.
This is a sensitive site for bird populations, and as such we ask that you listen carefully to the briefing to understand which areas should be avoided to prevent bird disturbance.
The Final Straw Foundation will provide gloves, litter pickers, bags and buckets, but if you have any of your own of these that you would like to use please bring them.
Our community beach cleans are open to individuals and small groups. If you're a business or corporate group looking to join, for your volunteering hours or team-building, we’ll need to arrange a bespoke private clean for you. These private cleans support our charity through a donation, ensuring we can continue our important work. Get in touch via
