Ben Vogel: Music at the Market

Smart pop music that surges with rock n’ roll energy! Whether he’s live or on record, you can expect nothing less from Ben Vogel. Putting his own spin on a tradition of hook-filled, guitar-centric pop music, Ben is a guitar slinger for a new millennium.
A classically-trained graduate of the University of Texas Butler School of Music, Ben went out into the world and gained his musical experience the old fashioned way; backing up anyone from songwriters to soul singers to children’s entertainers, playing bars and backyard parties from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico.
Ready to strike out on his own, Ben released his debut album Whistling After Midnight (I Don’t Hear a Single’s #9 album of 2019) late last year, supporting it with a run of successful solo gigs. Always in search of the ideal pop song, Ben walks an incredibly fine line; sophisticated but never pretentious, precise but never overproduced, familiar but never derivative.
Most recently, Ben has returned to his original stomping grounds in the Inland Northwest, setting up shop in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
