Mineral County Opioid Awareness Festival & Rodeo

Get ready for some action-packed fun at the Mineral County Rodeo and Festival, happening right here in Hawthorne! This year, we're proud to combine our exciting event with the annual Armed Forces Day weekend, and we're also raising awareness for a vital cause: opioid awareness.

Kick things off with us on Thursday, May 15th for a FREE Family Night! We'll have a whole heap of activities to keep the family grinning from ear to ear.

Then, saddle up for the main event! The Rodeo will be in full swing on Friday, May 16th, and Saturday, May 17th.

Prepare for some truly incredible activities that both the young'uns and the grown-ups will adore, including the wild CRAZY BULL, the challenging MEGA MELTDOWN, racing around in HAMSTER BALLS & TRACK, soaring high on the EURO BUNGY, testing your skills at the SPORTS CENTERS, conquering the ROCKWALL, and getting ready to whack in HUMAN WHACK-A-MOLE!

And hold onto your hats for the heart-pounding Rodeo action, featuring the adorable MUTTIN BUSTIN’, the exciting MINI BULLS, the speed of BREAKAWAY, the precision of BARRELS, the teamwork of TEAM ROPING, the grit of RANCH BRONCS, and the ultimate showdown of the OPEN BULLS!
