The exhibition opens on Friday, September 26th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a special evening viewing from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It continues on Saturday, September 27th, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Mark is an Anglican minister with a love for pastel painting.
Soft pastels are his medium of choice as he seeks to capture the natural world through vibrant, textured landscapes. Inspired by the changing light, shifting seasons, and quiet beauty of nature, he uses soft pastels to create immersive scenes that evoke mood, memory, and place.
His work explores the harmony between colour and atmosphere, using the rich, luminous qualities of pastel to bring each landscape to life. Whether it’s a tranquil countryside, dramatic coastline, or misty woodland, his goal is to transport the viewer into the moment and celebrate the emotional power of the land.
The exhibition will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Surrey Hills. Entry $10 (cash only).
