Woolly Autumn 1

The first of 4 different autumn woolly adventures to keep us snug and warm in winter, you will be attending ALL 4!
In this session we will look at the washing and inital processing of sheep fleece, with every familiy having some fleece to take home.
We will create some frienship bracelets whilste others take their first steps in learning how wool is spun on a wheel.
Others will develop skills in knitting, crochet or weaving to understand how wool can be used both creatively and for clothing, hats, socks, gloves etc.
