Workshop: Wee Boat Upcycling with Susie Finlayson

Dive into creativity with Susie Finlayson in this fun, family-friendly Wee Boat Kids’ Workshop! Designed for children aged 8 and up, this hands-on workshop invites kids to explore the world of upcycling by transforming old fabrics into delightful, one-of-a-kind boat creations. With Susie’s expert guidance, kids will have the chance to get creative, learn new skills, and make something special while helping to reduce waste through upcycling.

In this workshop, your child will:

- Learn how to upcycle fabrics into colourful, textured boat designs using simple sewing and crafting techniques.

-Experiment with different fabrics, textures, and materials to create their own unique creations.

-Explore the importance of sustainability and how to reuse and repurpose everyday items to create something new.

-Receive step-by-step guidance from Susie Finlayson, who will inspire and support your child throughout the creative process.


Spaces are limited to just 8 kids, so be sure to book early to secure your spot. Parents are welcome to join in or watch the creative process unfold! Children can not be left unattended.
