*Up Coming Work Party at The Warren*
In the past we have had many members offer to give their assistance if we were to have a work party at the Warren, therefore we are asking our members who can assist to join us on Wednesday 11th February.
The team will be at the pond from 8am until 4pm, if you are interested in helping out even if it’s just an hour it would be greatly appreciated between 9am and 3pm.
The tasks for the day will consist of mainly snag and debris removal from the bank edge, bush and overgrowth trimming from the bankside, ditch clearing and some low tree work if possible.
The water level of the pond will be dropped which will allow access to areas not normally accessible without a boat
We would recommend wearing boots,wellies or waders as some areas will be silty.
We will have our fishery consultants on site that day carrying out a survey for us so we will need to work around them.
