Haverhill Riverbards Spring Poetry Series

On Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 PM, the Haverhill River Bards will host the inaugural Poetry & Open Mic Night of their 2025 spring series at HC Media’s Studio 101 (2 Merrimack St, Haverhill). This special evening will feature performances by the talented poets of the Haverhill High School Poetry Club, spotlighting the next generation of literary voices. The event will open with a featured reading, followed by an open mic where all are welcome to share their original work. A sign-up sheet will be available at the door for those interested in reading. The event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. Doors open at 6:45 PM, and the event concludes by 8:30 PM. Free parking is available across the street from the former A1 Deli.

The Haverhill River Bards, a passionate collective of local poets, presents this poetry series twice a year in partnership with HC Media and Creative Haverhill. Each session offers monthly readings by accomplished poets alongside open mic opportunities, aiming to cultivate a welcoming space for poetry, prose, and spoken word in the heart of downtown Haverhill.
