Big Woods Art Workshop with Kayann Ausherman

Spend the day imagining yourself in a wooded wonderland full of giant trees, woodland foliage, and sun-tinted shadows. We will be creating loose, representational abstract woodland scenes as we explore the use of color, composition, mixed-media materials, wet strength tissue paper, and the anatomy of trees. You will have the opportunity for some plein air sketching in the cool of the morning, and then we will move on to a finished artwork.
