Catchment Solutions: Working together

The Catchment Solutions Project team invites you to our 3rd and final annual Workshop and Field Day on 17 June, held at the Centralines Depot in Waipukurau.

The workshop theme, 'Catchment Solutions: Working together', will have invited speakers from the Lake Whatumā Management Group, Rangitāne o Manawatū, Tukituki Land Care/Pōrangahau-Maharakeke Catchment Group, Hawkes Bay Regional Council, NZ Landcare Trust, and Massey University farmed Landscapes Research Centre. They will share and discuss their perspectives (Mātauranga Māori, Farming, Policy and Planning, and Science and Advisory) to collaboratively work together to find and implement targeted and effective catchment-scale water quality solutions.

You will have an opportunity to join in the field sites in the Maharakeke Pōrangahau Catchment, including a woodchip bioreactor and a Detainment Bund built in the catchment.
