Elder Scottie Tyrone is a native of Sumrall, MS. At the age of 4, he began to develop his
musical gift and at the age of 5 he began playing at his local church. Over the course of his
musical career, he served as General Overseer for Maranatha Fellowship, Director of
Music for the Regional Area of Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, toured with
Charles Tyrone and Faith Community Singers, and Regional Director for GMWA. His
talents have allowed him to minister nationally and internationally in places such as Paris,
Portugal and across the United States. In 2016, Elder Tyrone released his original single
entitled “Oil of Redemption”. In 2018, he released his album "All That's Within Me". In
February 2020, Elder Tyrone won the “Male Vocalist of the Year Award” at the Texas
Gospel Music Excellence Awards. He is the 2020 Texas Gospel Music Excellence Award
winner for National Male Soloist of the Year and the “Male Gospel Artist of the Year” at
the Gulf Coast Gospel Awards. Elder Scottie released his workbook entitled Power of
Music, in October 2021. In 2023, Elder Tyrone became the creator and founder of Zamar
Music Awards. His new single, “High and Lifted Up”, was released in January 2025. Elder
Tyrone strives for continued personal growth and to impart into the lives of those he
encounters. He has conducted music clinics, vocal identity trainings, and has shared the
Word of God at every available opportunity. He has dedicated his life to assisting in the
growth, development, and understanding of the art of music. His desire is to provide a
musical platform via television for all new and upcoming artists. Elder Scottie Tyrone is
currently the Pastor of Worship at Real Life Church in Hattiesburg, MS, Executive Pastor
of Lincoln Park Ministry in Sumrall, MS, and visionary of Gifted Music Academy School
of the Arts
