Genesis P-Orridge, of Throbbing Gristle, and the music and performance art collective Coum Transmissions, lived their art to the extreme. This intimate documentary captures P-Orridge’s final year, revealing the sacrifices and payoffs of a life beyond boundaries. Featuring William Burroughs and Timothy Leary, alongside never-before-seen archival footage, it’s an authorised yet raw portrayal of a pioneering artist, musician and gender revolutionary.
Also featuring Brion Gyson, Alice Genese (Psychic TV), David J (Bauhaus/Love and Rockets), Nepalese monks, African witch doctors, and a special cameo by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, plus never-before-seen archival treasures, including performances from Throbbing Gristle and Psychic TV.
