Join us for our Q2 Impact Event, the 2nd under our new umbrella of Guys Who Give! We'll meet at the amazing Venue 1230 (1230 N Michigan Ave, Hastings, MI 49058) with doors opening at 5:30 PM and event kicking off at 6:00 PM. Bring a buddy and let's build some momentum!
The GWG Event Process:
ATTEND:
All events are kept to one hour, max. Come with a positive attitude and a BLANK check for $100 or be ready to give online via our secure donation portal. Prepare to meet great new people and support the deserving local nonprofit we select.
NOMINATE (Optional):
Members are encouraged to submit a local organization (501c3 that serves Barry County required) that needs support. We'll draw three and if your nomination is pulled, you'll be given up to 5 minutes to casually present to the group why you selected them to receive our support. Only 3 charities are drawn to "present" at each meeting and no presentation materials are allowed.
VOTE:
Members will vote to select one of the presented organizations to receive the full donation for that quarter's effort.
GIVE:
We'll all write a $100 check directly to the chosen nonprofit or contribute $100 online via the GWG giving portal (so you'll have a tax receipt). Checks will be collected at the close of the meeting.
OBSERVE IMPACT:
When we come together as a group of inspired men for 60 minutes, we can make real, positive, and immediate impact in our community.
