Pride celebration season: The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at the Electric Palace

In 1994, writer-director Stephan Elliott created this pioneering LGBT gem - a funny, smart and intensely lovable road-trip comedy and an anti-Crocodile Dundee.

Two drag performers and a transgender woman travel across the desert to perform their unique style of cabaret. Starring Terence Stamp as he deadpanned his role alongside Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce squeezing every last outrageous drop from their performances.
