Play the Town is an exciting new, interactive art-based treasure trail running throughout May 2025 across Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill, and Ore. Featuring over 25 pop-up installations, this unique event invites residents and visitors to explore their town through creativity and play.
Highlights include ‘The World’s Smallest Disco’ at St Andrew’s Mews, a giant child-built playground at Hatton’s Yard in collaboration with Black Butterfly and Woodland Tribe, the Ten Sixty Six Mix phone boxes in Hastings Station and Source Park and a magical Woodland Trail at Speckled Wood.
“This project is all about discovery, creativity, and community. We want people to explore their town in a new way, encountering unexpected moments of play and joy along the way.”
