HBRW 2025 - The Dick Frizzell Story

Dick Frizzell has become a national icon for his pop art paintings and prints. A lad from Hawke’s Bay, his memoir Hastings: a boy’s own adventure is “a love letter to his hometown” and captures growing up in the 1950s and 60s in a provincial city. Hear his favourite reminiscences as he discusses his book with that other home-grown gem, Lizzie Russell.
