Want to learn how to properly care for your fruit trees and improve their health and production? Join the City of Harvard and members of the Tree Board for a hands-on Fruit Tree Pruning Class led by Tree Board members β including certified arborists β who will guide you through the fundamentals of pruning.

When to prune fruit trees

Proper tools and techniques

How to safely and effectively prune
π± Hands-On Learning:
The class will begin indoors at the library and then move outdoors to nearby fruit trees for a live pruning demonstration. Participants will also have the opportunity to try pruning themselves with guidance from instructors.
π Please dress for the weather and bring work gloves.
Pruning tools will be provided.
This is a great opportunity for homeowners, gardeners, and anyone interested in learning practical tree care skills while helping keep Harvardβs urban forest healthy and thriving!
