Welcome to the Second Chance Jobs Summit!
Join us at the Capital Campus of the CT Community College for an opportunity to network with employers participating in Second Chance hiring and learn about efforts underway across the state to support employment opportunities.
The CT State Conference of the NAACP Million Jobs Campaign engages employers across the state in hiring individuals with a history of involvement in the criminal justice system who face significant barriers to employment. At the summit, we will present the business case for Second Chance hiring, featuring successful case studies of employer engagement in this work and discuss policy and system barriers to unlocking further progress. We seek to mobilize Connecticut's business, education and political communities to take meaningful action on this important civil justice issue.
The summit is also co-hosted by Capital Campus, CT Community College and the Connecticut Business and Industry Association.
