We are offering two weeks of IlluminateU for ages 6-8 and 8-10 this summer.
lluminateU is an array of multi-faceted programs designed for youth. The LSC offers these programs at our school and in partnership with other organizations.
Every IlluminateU program has the LSC’s unique, guided visualization meditations woven into other engaging activities that youth are excited to participate in, such as art, movement, athletics and more.
During programs youth are given techniques to understand what is triggering their stresses, anxieties, anger, depression and more. The programs are suited for children who typically struggle with concentration and focus. The goal of IlluminateU is to provide support, foster resilience, and empower youth.
There will be two sessions a week lasting two hours each with the option to attend a fifth session at no extra cost. Each session will incorporate movement, creativity and fun activities, with simple meditation tools. Each IlluminateU program has two teachers and the groups are designed to be small so the kids can get to know each other, become friends and have fun.
Suggested for 6-8 years old:
July 9, 11, 16 & 18 from 2:30-4:30 pm
Suggested for 8-10 years old:
July 23, 25, 30, & August 1 from 2:30-4:30 pm
An extra day will be offered on August 6 from 2:30-4:30 pm for all students who participated in our Summer Program at no additional cost.
