On Saturday August 9th there will be a program in the backyard of Hartford Quaker Meetinghouse, 144 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford, with a potluck starting at 6 pm. A program featuring speakers, live music, and poetry will begin at 7 pm closing with constructing a large candle lit peace sign. During the event participants will be encouraged to hand write letters to their congressional delegation advocating support for H. Res. 317 and companion Senate legislation.
