2025 Cemetery Tour

Join the Hartford Historical Society on Saturday, September 6 any time from noon to three for docent-led tours. New research has added to the stories of a teenage car crash victim and a double suicide.

Listen to the story of a swindler who is buried near those he swindled and John Philip Sousa’s star flutist who in 1934 died when he crashed the plane he had built while performing aerial tricks at Hartford’s Fireman’s Picnic.
